Support programmes for students

Students receive dedicated support and guidance to thrive academically, personally and in preparation for higher education. They benefit from three key programmes designed to bridge gaps, strengthen learning and provide personalised mentoring.

Advanced Support Programme

Ideal for learners who would benefit from extra support, this programme uses initial assessment data to create a personalised path to academic confidence and success. Through this programme, we help students build a strong foundation in core subjects and the personal skills to tackle future challenges.

How it works
Students attend individual or small-group sessions of 40 minutes, weekly twice. They engage in structured, scheduled and closely monitored learning interventions. Students track progress through monthly reviews and re-testing, ensuring continuous improvement.

Outcome
At our Cambridge High School, students build the academic foundations required to perform alongside their peers. They gain confidence, deepen understanding and achieve mastery in their subjects.

Advanced Support Programme

Mentorship Programme

The Mentorship Programme pairs students with a dedicated mentor to become more independent learners. Through personalised guidance, students receive end-to-end support for their academics, personal growth and university preparation. Students can opt in to this tailored programme.

How it works
This programme guides students in building strong study habits, tracking their progress and staying motivated. With dedicated counsellor support, they can also address any behavioural or academic concerns. To prepare for university, students attend info sessions, secure recommendation letters and navigate application requirements.
The programme includes mandatory Saturday one-to-one sessions, and we keep parents in the loop through regular calls, meetings and updates.

Outcome
This programme builds self-reliant learners, ready for the independence of university. Students develop consistent study habits and personal skills, creating a strong foundation for their future academic and career goals.

Catch-Up Programme

The Catch-Up Programme provides new students with targeted academic support, helping them bridge gaps in the syllabus and confidently adapting to the school's academic expectations.

How it works
The process begins with students identifying their learning gaps through assessments and teacher feedback. Based on these insights, they attend tailored support sessions and continuously track their improvement, ensuring they steadily catch up and integrate with their class.

Outcome
This approach helps students catch up with their peers quickly while ensuring a smooth transition into the school's environment and curriculum.

Arjun

Filled with imagination and ambition, yet thoughts so broad, I entered CS with a curious heart. I felt a sense of community and belonging I've never felt before. It was here that my path ahead was paved with the right people having my back, and the right minds to get me to Aspire, Create, and Excel.
