At CS Academy, our International Learning Opportunities (ILOS) are thoughtfully designed to nurture the ISP vision of building curious, confident minds. Aligned with the ISP Big 5: Cognitive, Global, Digital, Self-Leadership, and Interpersonal skills, which are experiences that extend learning far beyond the classroom. What makes this approach impactful is its seamless integration into everyday learning. All subject teachers are guided by clear learning objectives to embed international opportunities within the academic framework, ensuring meaningful and consistent exposure for every student. Additionally, based on valuable parent feedback, students are now encouraged to participate in more than one ILOS programme, allowing for deeper exploration and broader skill development.Through International School Partnership programmes, students engage with peers across the world, participate in global exchanges, and explore platforms such as ISP Model United Nations and ISP Filmmakers. These experiences cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and communication, while fostering global awareness and respect for diverse perspectives.By navigating real-world challenges collaboratively, students strengthen their digital literacy, leadership, and teamwork skills equip them to thrive as adaptable, empathetic, and future-ready global citizens.Prasanna VenkatHead of ILOSCS Academy (Cambridge)LIT Fest & ILOS celebrationThe Literature Fest and ILOS Celebration at CS Academy was a vibrant showcase of student talent, creativity, and skill development. With student passports guiding their journey, learners explored multilingual performances at the Amphitheatre and engaged with ILOS booths like Changemakers, Artists, and ISP Scientists. Classrooms transformed into immersive literary spaces, bringing stories and poetry to life. The event highlighted the confidence and capabilities of our students, reinforcing the value of independent learning. We thank our parents, teachers, and the entire school community for their continued support in making this celebration a memorable success.Virtual exchange: Students were given the opportunity to interact with their counterparts from Thailand and UK. This helped them understand the cultures and differences and make the effort to learn their cultures and so on.ISP Artists:As a non-scholastic discipline, ISP Artists provides students with a powerful medium to express ideas and perspectives beyond words. Through art, they translate concepts and messages into meaningful visual narratives, bridging theory with creative expression. This platform encourages students to think critically, communicate thoughtfully, and explore global themes through their own unique lens—fostering creativity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.ISP Changemakers:Green-A-ThonCS Academy’s Green-A-Thon, held under the International Schools Partnership Changemakers: Ideas for Action initiative, brought together a vibrant community united by a shared purpose, addressing the rising temperatures in Coimbatore through meaningful, student-led action. With nearly 900 participants, including students, parents, and members of the public, the event stood as a testament to the power of collective effort in driving sustainability. At the heart of the initiative was a simple yet impactful idea: small actions can lead to lasting change. A key highlight of the Green-A-Thon was the distribution of native saplings, encouraging families to actively contribute to enhancing local biodiversity and fostering long-term ecological balance within their communities.Blending fitness with environmental consciousness, the event went beyond a traditional run. It served as a platform to raise awareness about climate responsibility while inspiring participants to adopt more sustainable practices in their everyday lives.Threads of HopeThrough “Threads of Hope,” students led a meaningful clothing donation drive, collecting, sorting, and distributing essentials to those in need. Beyond the act of giving, they experienced empathy in action, understood the value of teamwork, and witnessed the real impact of their efforts. Such experiences go beyond the classroom, offering lessons that are felt rather than taught. By engaging with real-world needs, students develop a deeper sense of responsibility and purpose, shaping them into compassionate, socially aware changemakers.ISP writers:Bringing global collaboration into the learning experience, students worked closely with peers from the LATAM region to co-create stories and poems, following a structured writing flow. Their work was published on the BOOM Writers platform, offering them the opportunity to share their voices with an authentic international audience. This enriching experience deepened their understanding of diverse cultural narratives and perspectives, while strengthening creativity, communication, and collaboration—seamlessly reflecting the ILOS vision of nurturing globally aware, confident, and expressive learners.
