Leadership Update - May

21-05-2025

This year’s CBSE Board Examination results are a proud reflection of our students’ hard work, the commitment of our teachers, and the academic support systems we have built over time.

Our Grade 12 students posted a top score of 98.8%, with 40% scoring above 90%. In Grade 10, the highest score reached 98.6%, with 55% of students crossing the 90% mark. With 28 centums across both grades, these results are more than just numbers — they speak of a culture that values consistency, clarity, and genuine understanding.

At the heart of this success is our team of passionate educators. Their dedication, personalised mentoring, and relentless pursuit of excellence have been instrumental in shaping both outcomes and confidence in every learner. As a school, we have always believed in structured academic guidance and timely interventions — ensuring that no child is left behind and every child is empowered to do their best.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our students, our teachers, and our parent community. We move forward with pride and gratitude, inspired to continue nurturing excellence with care and conviction.

Ms Smitha Baburaj
Principal - CBSE, CS Academy

The recent Cambridge results are a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when clarity of purpose meets sustained effort.

At the IGCSE level, 47% of grades awarded were A or A*, with individual students achieving as many as 7 A* — a rare and rigorous feat. At AS and A Levels, students collectively secured 73 A grades at AS Level and 31 A* at A Level. These are not just numbers, but a reflection of long-term commitment, academic maturity, and the ability to perform with consistency — not simply a last-minute peak.

Such achievements are only possible through a strong culture of support. Our dedicated teachers have guided students with care and rigour, striking the right balance between challenge and encouragement. At CS Academy, we focus on building independent, reflective learners who can think critically and adapt with confidence.

To our students — we are incredibly proud of your hard work and resilience. To our teachers and parents — thank you for your constant support and belief in the process.

These results encourage us to continue striving for excellence — not only in outcomes, but in the depth and quality of learning itself.

Mr Sony Thomas
Head of School – Cambridge, CS Academy
