Head of School’s Message

As we embark on another exciting academic year, I warmly welcome our students and families to a journey of curiosity, collaboration, and purposeful learning. At CS Academy Cambridge, we are committed to nurturing globally minded learners who are empowered to think critically, lead with integrity, and embrace opportunities with confidence. This year, our focus continues to extend beyond academic excellence, fostering wellbeing, multilingualism, innovation, sustainability, and future-ready competencies through meaningful experiences both inside and beyond the classroom. Together, let us cultivate a learning community where every student is inspired to discover their strengths, broaden their perspectives, and make a positive impact on an ever-evolving world.

Parents gained insights into their children's learning journey, academic expectations, reading initiatives, student wellbeing, and opportunities designed to support holistic growth and future readiness.

The session encouraged meaningful conversations and provided a clear understanding of the school's approach to learning and development. An interactive Q&A segment concluded the programme, fostering a shared commitment between parents and the school to support every learner's success throughout the year.

DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) Programme

A culture of reading came alive across the campus as the school observed the DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) Programme. Students, teachers, and staff paused their daily schedules for ten minutes to immerse themselves in a book of their choice, transforming classrooms and shared spaces into vibrant reading corners.

The initiative celebrated the simple yet powerful habit of reading for pleasure, encouraging curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong appreciation for books. It also served as a reminder of the importance of making time for reading amidst busy routines.

Adding a special touch to the programme, two parents joined the reading session from the reception area, reflecting the collaborative effort between home and school in nurturing confident, enthusiastic readers.

The DEAR Programme was a meaningful celebration of literacy, reinforcing the belief that every page turned opens the door to new ideas, perspectives, and possibilities.
